Twitter users’ reactions to the performance of referee Phil Dowd, following the game between Manchester City and Arsenal, on the 18th December 2011. The game, which ended 1-0 to the home side, was marred by controversy as Dowd seemingly made a number of poor choices, leaving people to question his decision-making ability, his parentage and, most frequently, his weight.
