Cartwheeling tinker, Robbie Keane announced last week that he was going to be joining his ‘boyhood team’, Aston Villa on a 6-week loan, early in 2012. This is now the tenth time Robbie has signed for the club he grew up supporting as a child (eleven if you count signing for Spurs twice), and five of these clubs were also described as his ‘local side’ at one stage or another. This begs a couple of questions… Firstly, how often did Robbie’s family move home, when he was growing up? Secondly, how many scarves and replica kits must he have owned as a nipper?
His wardrobe must have looked like a branch of JD Sports.
