On the 10th of March, 2012, in a 1-0 victory over Stoke City, Didier Drogba became the 22nd player to reach the landmark total of 100 Premier League goals. By scoring 100 goals in just 220 league games, Didier has become the 9th quickest player to achieve this feat. Thanks to the data from the lovely people at Infostrada Sports we have put together this interactive visualization showing Didier’s scoring rate, the teams who he was most prolific against and a few statistics showing that 68% of his goals were scored at Stamford Bridge and 32% away from home. He has scored (sometimes more than once) in 63 Chelsea victories, 15 draws and just three of his strikes were in losing matches (against Aston Villa on two separate occasions).

Part two of this visualisation comparing the 22 players to reach 100 Premier League goals, is now available here.
